Security Essen is the international meeting place for solutions relating to everything to do with civil security: At the 20th global fair for security and access control technology, over 39,000 trade visitors from 115 countries obtained information from 1,086 exhibitors from 40 nations.
SALTO Systems showed numerous innovations over the 4 day event including the new brand new complete XS4 product re-design, across to a range of innovative new wire-free access control solutions suitable for the needs of any kind of door or building.
Axel Schmidt, Geschäftsführer SALTO Systems GmbH says "The state-of-the-art features in our new generation of wire-free locks deliver market innovation whilst efficiently managing keys for access control, ensuring our customers optimise their investment for any kind of door and user need."
One conspicuous feature was the interest visitors showed in finding out more about NFC technology. Thanks to SALTO’s new SVN 2.0 SIM-base data-on-card solution they were able to see how NFC capable smartphones could be used to open doors and manage user rights, giving them unrivalled access flexibility in a mobile package.
Joining this was an innovative and powerful new access control software designed for monitoring buildings, users and doors using a web-based platfom. This extensive refinement of SALTO wireless technology and software capabilities combined with wireless stand-alone escutcheons and cylinders made it posible for prospective end users to see building doors being monitored wirelessly live and in real time.
Messe ESSEN was also the perfect place to show new additions to SALTO’s market leading range of SALTO GEO electronic cylinders, a new anti-panic bar that can be integrated with fire control and security systems, new handle grips especially designed for use in DDA environments and much more.
Marc Handels, Vice President Global Marketing and Sales for SALTO Systems, says “The new XS4 REvolution gives full expression to the SALTO escutcheons design renaissance inspired by technology and design. Our task has been to explore how to apply the SALTO design language and technology to the particular proportions and specific requirements of a door. We want to re-inspire and create something special and what we have come up with is indeed unique and impressed a wide range of partners, installers, consultants and end users”
